Library, 1/09

Angela isn't sure whether she's more frightened by the fact this is her first time opening the library, by the new students, or by the Librarian.

Her stomach is a mass of butterflies as she turns on the lights and takes a place behind the checkout desk, braced for the onslaught.

"There shouldn't be. Let me see it," Angela says, taking the form. She goes over to the computer to check the information. "Wait, yeah, there is. She spelled her first name differently on the app than the computer has it. Winnifred vs. Winifred. Do you think the library doesn't like that?"

"That's probably it. First day of school nerves and all. Okay, well, there's got to be White-Out somewhere in this desk." Zero starts pulling open drawers. "We'll just get rid of the extra 'n' on the form, and that should do it. Whoever opens the library tomorrow should put a notice on the door that she should stop by for a corrected card, though."
