Blair bounced in and grabbed a sandwhich and cookies. He sat down at a table to eat, scribbling in his notebook while he ate.

"Hey Blair," John calls. "How's it going so far?"

Blair grinned and looked up. "Great so far! Spiders don't have names, so I won't feel bad smushing them. Oh, Angel loaned me some of your socks. They're really warm!"

"Ah, good to hear on the socks. Feel free to borrow whatever you need," John says and nods. "Have you had any classes yet?"

"Creature languages" Blair bounced cheerfully. "I'm really hoping to learn monkey and dog. What about you? Have you had classes yet?"

"I've had shop class," John says, eating some of his soup. "We made coffee makers. My coffee was nasty. Learning monkey and dog would come in handy at this school considering we have an orangutan for a librarian and students have turned into dogs before."

Blair lowered his voice. "Monkeys...they know things, man. Tapping into that knowledge...whoa." Blair bounced and went back to eating cookies. "That's too bad. Do you like fail or something?"

John leans in closer. "Monkeys know things? About us? Like what? And, if you turn into an animal, you don't fail, you just get made fun of everyday on the radio. Make sure you don't turn into an animal and have Barbossa find out about it. Have you met Logan who used to be a bunny, yet?"

Blair lowered his voice even lower, "I don't know, maybe. Have you seen monkeys looking at you? They look like they're watching you. Always watching. I learned sign language to talk to them, but only got one to tell me 'banana shoe' which I haven't figured out yet. But trust me, they know stuff."

Blair grinned. "Logan! Yup! He was not a bunny when I met him, but he's cool. Oh, so about that email thing...is there an age limit on fraternitys?"

John shivers at the thought of monkeys knowing something about him. "Dude. That's...that's a little frightening but I can see it now. They're very observant and they stare all the time. Like they're cataloguing everything about you."

"And nope, no age limit," John says. "It's a new frat so we're just getting off the ground and everyone's welcome."

Blair nodded at John's shiver. "Totally. I'll let you know when I learn to talk to them. I can see what they know about you."

Blair bounced happily. "Cool, man! I've never been in a fraternity before!"

"I've never been in one either, actually." John leans back and stretches a bit. "It's going to be a learning experience, that's for sure. And maybe, depending on how it goes, we can bring the monkey problem up to the guys? We can let them know your on the case and all."

"Cool!" Blair bounced. "I'm going to go grab another notebook and more pens before my history class, so I'll talk to you later!"

Blair bounded up and nodded at John's statement. "I'm happy to serve, man. Happy to serve."
