Shop Class: [1/9]

As the students enter into the Danger Room Shop, they'll see that it has been transformed into a scrapyard, filled with various mechanical machines, scrap metal etc.

A section of the Junkyard has been put aside for the typical tools you would find in a metal/wood shop.

"Morning Kids. Before we do anything else, we will go over The Rules of the Danger Shop."

After the rules have been gone over, Mac then does Roll Call to make sure everyone is there. Then Mac walks everyone through the safety percautions and techniques to use any of the shop tools.

When that is complete, Mac rolls out a cart that has ground coffee and various types of coffee filters.

Today we are going to build a coffee machine.

To do this you must:
1. Fashion a container and device to boil water
2. Fashion a device to filter water through the coffee grounds
3. Fashion a device to receive the coffee

Notes: There are no Coffee Brewers or Percolators in the Junk Yard. I know. I fixed them. If you find a device that will heat the coffee (hotplate etc), chances are it is broken and you must take the time to fix it. Shop equipment cannot be used as functioning part of the coffee maker. Only to build it.

*DEATH nods, taking his soap. He then returns to scrounging around in the mess until he he comes back with a tin can, several rubber bands, a sink with the drain pipe still attached, a large drum barrel, a straight pin and something else that appears to be rather stretchy. Taking the time to wash the stretchy item in particular, he gives everything else a precursory scrub as well while he is at it.

He then fills the drum with bits of flammable debris and sets them aflame, setting the sink on top of it, with the drain pipe haing down outside the barrel. He plugs the drain and fills it with water.

While waiting for the water to boil in the sink, DEATH begins punching tiny holes in the stretchy object with the straight pin and, once done, packs it with coffee grounds.

His water now boiling, he attaches it to the end of the sinks drain pipe with the rubber bands, positions the tin can underneath it and stands back to admire his work. There is now a condom, possible of the glow-in-the-dark variety, hanging from the sink full of boiling water.

DEATH reaches in, pulls the drain free, and watches as the boiling water travels down, filtering through the condom and dripping coffee into the can. He nods appreciatively.*
