As the students enter into the Danger ~~Room~~ Shop, they'll see that it has been transformed into a scrapyard, filled with various mechanical machines, scrap metal etc.

A section of the Junkyard has been put aside for the typical tools you would find in a metal/wood shop.

"Morning Kids. Before we do anything else, we will go over The Rules of the Danger Shop."

After the rules have been gone over, Mac then does Roll Call to make sure everyone is there. Then Mac walks everyone through the safety percautions and techniques to use any of the shop tools.

When that is complete, Mac rolls out a cart that has ground coffee and various types of coffee filters.

Today we are going to build a coffee machine.

To do this you must:
1. Fashion a container and device to boil water
2. Fashion a device to filter water through the coffee grounds
3. Fashion a device to receive the coffee

Notes: There are no Coffee Brewers or Percolators in the Junk Yard. I know. I fixed them. If you find a device that will heat the coffee (hotplate etc), chances are it is broken and you must take the time to fix it. Shop equipment cannot be used as functioning part of the coffee maker. Only to build it.

"Make the TA taste test that one too!" John calls out from his spot.

Sam vowed revenge against Crichton.

More chicken noises. Might be a little louder now.

Sam rolled her eyes after hearing the chicken noises. "I think we should make everyone drink their own coffee. If they don't die, they get an A."

"Oh, we should probably call either Dr. House or Dr. Wilson first, though. Just in case."

Yuffie shot a glare at whoever was goading the TA to drink her coffee like it was awful- cause, you know, awesome- then did a double take. "Cam? I didn't realize you were taking this class!" She couldn't help but grin a bit.

"Ah, you must've met my lookalike," John says. "I'm John Crichton, not Cameron Mitchell. We're not related. We just look a whole heckva lot a like."

Yuffie blinked at that, then looks at him suspisously. "Are you sure you aren't related? Cause you look like his twin or something." She frowned a bit, then sudden;y blinked. "Oh, yeah, and I'm Yuffie Kisagari. Nice ta meet ya."

"Nice to meet you too," John grins. "And nope, no relations at all. Different families, different birthdays, different everything. We just happen to look very similar. It's a little weird, I know. I think I'm better looking then Cam, personally."

"Well.. around this place I guess I shouldn't be *that* surpised." Yuffie glanced over at John's coffee. "And nice coffee." She giggled a bit.

"Yeah." John sloshes the ugly brown liquid around. "Doesn't look too good, does it? But, yours doesn't look much better. Where'd the lump come from?"

"I think some of the coffe grounds got around the filter. Or there was something in the pan I didn't see." She looked at her pan, scowling, then looked at John, sudden mischief in her eyes. "I dare you to drink yours."

John cringes when he looks down at his coffee.

"Uh...it looks kinda bad. Not sure I wanna put that in my body."

Yuffie leaned over for a closer look. "Gawd,was there oil oil still in that oil can?" She wrinkled her nose. "Okay, forget the dare. The Principal would, I don't know, come and eat me if you died cause you drank that."

"Yeah and I kind of like my life right now." He sloshes the coffee around some more. "You know, there might've been oil still in there. Hmmm. That explains the yucky color."

Yuffie nodded. "Yeah... probally at least a film or something.... if we ever have to cook anything in this class again I'm going to wash my stuff. Or pray he doesn't grade on if you can eat something."

"Good idea," John says, grimacing at the coffee again. "And I have no idea if we'll have to make stuff this term. God, if this is any indication, I sure hope not."

"Yeah, tell me about it." Yuffie frowned at her own coffie. "Though I rather build stuff like this then listne to lectures and stuff like that."

"Me too," John agrees. "This is much better then lectures. What other classes are you taking?"

"Art history, the dinosaur class, music, and the Arthur legends one. Cause at least they sound interesting. You?"

"Shop, quantum physics, advanced journalism, US government and music. I'm actually the music TA. Awesome class."

"Cool, I guess i'll be seeing you around there, then. And hey, maybe in here we can team up sometime." She looked from her coffe to his. "On a project that doesn't involve food."

"Sure thing," John says and nods cheerfully. "Last year we had a scavenger hunt and Professor Ted always supplies good snacks. Twinkies and chips and stuff. It's a good class to have at the end of the week."

"Sweet. Free snackage is always good." Yuffie nodded cheefully herself. "And I'll totally rock at Scavenger hunts."
