Outside the Command Center, All Day Friday

Inside the Command Center, with the doors propped open, Dean Zordon can't help but hear the endless chatter of students going back and forth during enrollment. Unfortunately, stuck in his tube, he really has no choice.

Victor sighed as he exited the registration area, thankful that he had (hopefully) balanced his schedule. Most of the classes looked too advanced for him, so he had stuck with something simple: Math, Shop, and PE. Then, he had overheard someone talking about the Creature Languages course, and thought it might be fun, so he took that, too. Plus, rumor had it that there would be a dragon as a guest speaker!

"This place is definately wierd," he moaned aloud, forgetting that other people could hear him.

New kid. New, green kid. With a horn? Oh, well. she'd seen stranger. "What's wrong with weird?" asked Janet, forgetting to glance over the course description for Tactics of War. "Oh, hi, Janet Fraiser."

Victor started, remembering that he wasn't alone. "Oh...well, nothing really. It's just that this place is really different from my old school, and that place was pretty crazy."

It took him a second to realize that the name she said was actually her name and not her talking to someone else. "I'm Victor Borkowski." he said with a nervous grin. Then an idea came to him, and he looked around for a moment. I wonder if Bridge is going to be here? he wondered,his heart beating faster.

"Oh, good," said Janet. "If you had a problem with weird, I was going to suggest an abrupt transfer to the mainland." She grinned. "Nice to meet you, Victor. So what classes did you sign up for?" He looked distracted, probably by all the new faces.

"Umm," he stammered, disappointed that he couldn't find Bridge, "Math, P.E., Shop, and Creature Language. I thought I should just stick to the basics. How about you?"
