Outside the Command Center, All Day Friday

Inside the Command Center, with the doors propped open, Dean Zordon can't help but hear the endless chatter of students going back and forth during enrollment. Unfortunately, stuck in his tube, he really has no choice.

Just want to say you and the other MODs totally rock for doing this. The signups look awesome.

Pippi peeked into the door of the command center. She doesn't say anything because this is a rare moment where she's looking at something she's not quite sure what to make of... She also doesn't know if the man in the tube is sleeping... Lord knows she should be.

Xander turned away from the class-signup tables and ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head in a move that was not unreminiscent of, say, Wile E. Coyote trying to pop his toon-head back into its proper shape after having been smashed by an Acme^TM anvil. What the hell was he doing up this early again?

Oh, right. Signing up for classes. Because Xander Harris cared what classes he made it into for his final semester of Senior year. He tried hard to stick a question mark on the end of the previous sentence and failed miserably. I should so never have shown my report card to Willow. Did I not know she would give me the Big Eyes and start making noises about SATs and college and ZOMG Xander you actually possess a GPA in non-negative figures, don't blow this...

He tried to de-anvilize his head again without much success, and had a fleeting sad little wish for some of Spider Jerusalem's extremely questionable journalism-class coffee right about now. Yawning, Xander wandered over to the area just outside the main office, to check on that list of Big Brother ~~is watching you and will hurt you if you don't participate in this~~/Sister pairings.

Jake was staring blankly at the Big Brother/Sister list, coffee paused half way to his mouth. That was his name up there! The new principal knew his name! ...That could never be a good thing.

He'd got up hideously early and had already signed up for his classes. He'd contemplated a lot of the classes, but eventually ended up with five he thought would be interesting.

"Hey, Jakey," Callisto yawned and rubbed her neck. After glancing at the list to make sure her name wasn't on it, she debated making a coffee run.

"That's my name up there," Jake said, turning wide eyes in her direction. "He knows my name. I'm doomed."

"He knows mine too," Callisto gave Jake sympathetic look. "We can be doomed together."

Isabel made her way through the crowds and stopped when she saw her roommate. Somehow they'd missed each other in the room this morning. "Hi Xander," she called out.

Jake sighed deeply and sipped his coffee. "Woe. Do you know who my little person is? I don't think I've met him, her or it yet."

"Yuffie Kisagari?" Callisto shook her head. "Nope, haven't met him? Her?."

"I have no idea." Jake noticed Isabel arriving. "I met her (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/481592.html?thread=21990456#t21990456) at the Perk yesterday, though." He jabbed his thumb not very discretely towards her. "And a girl from, uh, totally not your honey's world. Oh, and the new Government teacher. They seemed pretty cool," he said, critically. "Good taste in coffee."

"My honey?" Callisto did not squeak. That would be undignified.

Jake grinned. "Yeah, you know. Tall, dark and puppy-loving? Broods? Kind of evil? Not that I'm saying that he is your honey, mind."

Kawalsky bounded in, signed up, and bounded out.

"Oh, Angel." Callisto made a mental note to throttle Jaye next time she saw her. "Speaking of, uh, honeys, how's Kry?"

There, that was a graceful change of subject.

"Probably asleep. Or he's insane again and cleaning the TA lounge. Oh, that reminds me, we should talk him into leaving his playstation there. It's not like his room has a telly any way."

"He wouldn't want to miss registration would he?" Callisto asked. "Ooh, someting distracting like that might be a good idea."

"I thought he might have registered and then gone to clean," Jake explained. He brightened. "I bought him GTA and sports games. ..Damnit, I forgot Burnout."

"That's probably it," Callisto nodded. "Did you get him any hockey games?"

"Of course. Two or three, I think. I don't remember." Jake frowned. "Hey, I have something..." he put his backpack down and rummaged through it, coming up with a A4 notebook with lined paper. He flipped through it until he found the page (http://pics.livejournal.com/courier_gavin/pic/000s4x92) he was looking for. "Is this correct? There's like forty billon posters around here, so it's kinda hard to keep track."

"Cool." Callisto looked at the page. "Yeah that looks about right. ~~Although I suspect Marty might be in for a bit of a shock (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/360098.html)."~~

Angel and mornings were so rarely a good combination. Still dazed from having to navigate the chaos of signup, he didn't look where he was going and certainly might be likely to bump into somebody like the occasionally ungraceful lug that he was.

Isabel stumbled when some knocked into her. "Hey! Ouch!"

Angel immediately looked apologetic. "Sorry. My bad." He gestured to his head to indicate fuzzy thinking. "Not really much for mornings." He blinked, realizing he didn't know this person. "Oh. Hey. You're new."

And another good-looking one, Isabel thought before smiling and sticking out her hand. "Yeah, mornings are no fun. Isabel Evans, nice to meet you."
