She flipped on the lights, unloaded the food from last night's shopping trip with Parker, made sure that no one but library staff could get to the food, and sat down to start eating while she finished up her Classics project.

Re: In the stacks
Fifteen feet in front of them, curled up in the corner between the wall and the turn around the rows, was a huge pile of books, at least six feet high--
--and on top of that was a sleeping dragon. About twenty feet long, lavendar-to-green scales, huuuge snout, and talons as long as their forearms.
It was wearing bifocals.

Re: In the stacks
Assuming you wanted to get within six feet of a sleeping dragon, that was.
ZZZZZZ... zzzzz... ZZZZZ... zzzz....
The bookcases, on the other hand, did not reach the ceiling here. They were only about fifteen feet tall.
Re: In the stacks
Dragon. Dragon.
Logan grabbed the shelf of the nearest bookcase and began to climb.

Re: In the stacks
"Ahem. I say. While you're up there? Would you mind throwing down The Two Towers? I hate to get up when I'm so comfy," a very polite, English-accented voice behind and below them said.
