Library (12/20/05)

Janet ran towards the library. She'd overslept, and it looked like no one else had gotten it open yet. She flipped on the lights, unloaded the food from last night's shopping trip with Parker, made sure that no one but library staff could get to the food, and sat down to start eating while she finished up her Classics project.

"Pretty well. New infusions of 'sparkling cider'--" she put quote marks around the words, "--are making today even happier. And hey, new toy! There is no bad there. Plus, all my classes and finals are done, and I have A's so far. Do you want some water for the hangover?"

"After this afternoon, I'm in the market for more "sparkling cider" as you call it," he says, rolling his eyes. "And congrats on the straight A's, Parker."

"Ah," Parker said, thinking, Nooooot gonna touch that one. "So why do you need more 'sparkling cider'? This stuff's for us, but I could get you some more. Probably. Heh. I mean, what's not to celebrate after last night?"
