Janet ran towards the library. She'd overslept, and it looked like no one else had gotten it open yet. She flipped on the lights, unloaded the food from last night's shopping trip with Parker, made sure that no one but library staff could get to the food, and sat down to start eating while she finished up her Classics project.

creme fraiche
Blinis with raspberry preserves
French bread
Grapes
Pears
Granny Smith and Tulip apples
Belgian Chocolate truffles
Chocolate Marble Cheesecake
Maple Walnut fudge
Wine and champagne (hidden)

"Oh, cool, thanks!" grins Anders. He doesn't open the present yet, not wanting to make too much noise in the library (because he's still kind of scared of it, after all), but he tucks it into the bag of presents he's toting around. "Yeah, just drop it off later, we'll probably be around somewhere or other. I gotta go to class now, but . . . here!"

He produces a tray of cupcakes and puts them down on the desk. "That's for all of you guys. Not as fancy as what you've got there, but hey, sugar."

"We'll never turn down sugar," agrees Janet, who's possibly in one of the mellowest moods she's been in while in the library. "Especially not when you've been thoughtful enough to provide it for us. Thanks, Anders! Good luck with your--is it a final?"

"Yep, a final," says Anders as he shoulders the bag and turns to go. "Final project, more like. We'll probably have to break into or out of something. Shop is fun!"

He winks, gives Janet a wave, and heads off to the Danger Shop.
