"If you have completed your interview project, you may pass it in now, but I am giving you until Wednesday to complete them. And as you know, if you need to, you may interview me or I can arrange someone for you."

"I also have a small gift for each of you, when you sign in. I hope you all have a happy holiday season."

Death and Dying

Grissom hands out a very boring, dry exam to everyone who enters.

"Please take your exam, and then hand it into me. Your grades will be available on Wednesday, but attendance in class is not required. I, however, will be here for the last meeting of Sociology of Deviance, so feel free to stop by.

I also have a gift for each of you, when you pass in your exam. I've enjoyed having you all in class, and I hope you have a nice winter break."

Allie takes her exam and passes with flying colors.

"Excellent work, Allie." Grissom hands her a small, shiny red bag containing this (http://www.pencity.com/Settelaghi/images/DrSet2.jpg). "Sorry, I didn't think to get you the pocket protector," he smirks.

"Thank you, Dr. Grissom," she says. "That's very kind of you."

Callisto signs in and takes the test.

She passes it easily, although there end up being numerous references to jazz hands in her answer.

"This is A work, Callisto. Thank you very much. Oh, and here," he says, handing her a small, silver bag containing these (http://www.supereggplant.com/archives/tipless%20gloves.JPG). "It's a little cold outside to do jazz hands properly, but these may help."

"Thanks teach." Callisto grinned, trying the gloves on.

Archie signs in and takes his exam. His answers are, on a basic level, mostly correct, though to the modern observer they might seem a touch uncivilized. One might even be so uncharitable as to say barbaric.

Grissom takes Archie's exam, and decides to take a look at it later.

"Thank you," he says, handing Archie a small box wrapped in simple holiday paper. It holds this. (http://polo.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pPOLO2-1733101_standard_v330.jpg) "Happy Holidays."

Stark takes his exam and does very well. Because, hey, he's supposed to be an expert on death.

"Good work, Stark. Thank you."

Grissom had quite a hard time selecting a gift for Stark. Eventually, he went with a gift certificate to the NPC Pizza Shop (http://www.spiralandcircle.com/pizza%20side%20new.jpg), because everyone likes pizza, right?

"Have a nice break, take care."

Buffy signs in and spends a great deal of time on her test. To her surprise, she actually knows all of the answers.

She passes with flying colours.

Grissom smiles warmly, "Good work, Buffy, thank you."

He then, befuddled as to what to get a somewhat girly girl as a gift, hands her a small envelope that has gift certificate to Sephora in it.

"Sorry for the gift not being very personal," he grumbles. "But I was told that a young girl would enjoy this. Have a nice winter break," he says honestly.

Takes the ~~damn~~ test.

Grissom smiles. "Nice, Martin. Good work."

He takes a small package out and hands it to Marty. No wrapping this time, just a small glass jar filled with a bright red powder.

"I figure you'll probably burn through that kit I gave you rather quickly," he says with a smirk. "This is Red Creeper fingerprinting powder - I make it myself. Hold on to this, for when you may really need it ~~because it is fucking geek hardcore!~~. I'm not making you anymore."

He looks vaguely amused ~~and wonders if he should demonstrate wax on, wax off,~~ as Marty looks at the jar.

Harry chews another pen while thinking up the answers to the ~~damn~~ test, but manages to get mostly correct answers.

"Good work, Harry."

Grissom smiles, and hands him a small, red box containing this (http://www.maps2anywhere.com/Graphics/Lewis-eye-glasses-care-kit.jpg).
