Professor Chaucer's Office, Monday

The following note is tacked to the door of Professor Chaucer's office:

Attention Western Literature and Poetry Students:

Today is your last day to turn in make-up work for missed classes, extra credit work, or submittals for your end-of-term Western Lit project.

Grades as of today will be posted here shortly. Your final project will have a significant impact on your grade, so if you're in the habit of missing classes, I strongly suggest this week's class not be one of them.

If you need to get in touch with me today concerning any of these, please use my voice mail.

((I wish I was on my computer at school--I had some really fantastically hilarious attempts at sonnets on there. I could've given you a real one!))

*Slips a sonnet into Professor Chaucer's mailbox with a candy cane. The candy cane is in no way attached to the sonnet, so hopefully it will be taken as an anonymous gift and not a bribe.*
