Professor Chaucer's Office, Monday
The following note is tacked to the door of Professor Chaucer's office:
Attention Western Literature and Poetry Students:
Today is your last day to turn in make-up work for missed classes, extra credit work, or submittals for your end-of-term Western Lit project.
Grades as of today will be posted here shortly. Your final project will have a significant impact on your grade, so if you're in the habit of missing classes, I strongly suggest this week's class not be one of them.
If you need to get in touch with me today concerning any of these, please use my voice mail.

Your final project counts toward the creative writing element of this class, which is 75% of your grade!
[OOC: You have until midnight tonight EST to comment here with your make-up or extra credit work, or to submit your topic for the end-of-term project (Western Lit students).]
[ETA: Grades have been added under the cuts.]
[ETA2: Western Lit has been updated with FINAL GRADES.]

[Also, highfive to Lee. Go Curve-Wreckers Club!]
[Third ooc, then I'll really shut up: There's a bad tag for the poetry list names. It has to be.... Edward Scissorhands, I think?]

[I don't grade on a curve. Ever. If you all fail, you all fail. ;)]
[Fixed. Amazing what one missing quotation mark can do.]

[Still, it's fun to say ;-) It's nice to know we WOULD be the curve-wreckers if one existed.]
[And fourthly, crazy mad love to Chaucer/you for actually assigning the grades rather than just asking what we prefer we got. It's so exciting!!]

[And by the way, I'm so going to hit Kiki up to apply for TA for my class next term.]

*Slips a sonnet into Professor Chaucer's mailbox with a candy cane. The candy cane is in no way attached to the sonnet, so hopefully it will be taken as an anonymous gift and not a bribe.*

Chaucer finds the sonnet and the candy cane. As they're the only two things in his mail box
(no one sends him mail, woe!), he guesses they're from the same person. Sucking happily on the candy cane, he reads over the sonnet and slips it into Zero's file, then changes her grade to a 'B'.
