At 2pm, Parker put up a sign on the door of the library:

By the sign-in sheet there is an application to be in the club. Take one and turn it in to m.parker@fandomhigh.net by next Friday. Applications will be considered by club advisors and officers.

Parker frowned. "Is that actually possible? Because it sounds like it wouldn't mess with the curse as it is. Talk to Miss Calendar, Piper and Angel about it. Maybe it's at least a stop-gap measure."

Jenny gave Xander an amused look, then replied to the new girl. "Nice thought. You got some ideas on it?" She typed a bit more on the program she was working on. She'd have to debug the heck out of it later. "Gotta say, though, I've never seen a spell that couldn't be broken, so we need more than one plan."

Angel rolled his eyes. "Xander, the fact of your continued existance annoys me on a daily basis, yet that doesn't do a damn thing to combat perfect happiness."

Louder, to the others, he said, "It's not about daily misery. It's about that moment of happiness. If I avoid that, I'm fine." Only someone who knew him very well, which severely narrowed down the list of possibles in the room to... yeah, about zero, would know that his stoic demeanor was currently masking a lot of pain and bitterness. "Trust me. I'm avoiding it. Next question."
