At 2pm, Parker put up a sign on the door of the library:

By the sign-in sheet there is an application to be in the club. Take one and turn it in to m.parker@fandomhigh.net by next Friday. Applications will be considered by club advisors and officers.

Tick still wasn't completely sure what he was doing here - well, aside from being the resident On-Call Superhero - but at least he was in a much better mood than he was last week.

Lockheed, meanwhile, continued to eat cookies. Tick would have to request sugar-free cookies for the next meeting. Lockheed was beginning to put on some weight.

"Hello, Ms. Calendar!" Tick said, glancing at the laptop. "My final was just yesterday, actually."

Lockheed hadn't been at last week's meeting, so he nodded to Jenny in greeting. "Oh," Tick said, "This is my roommate, Lockheed."

"Nice deal," said Jenny. "I've got some grading to do this weekend, and a final project due in on Tuesday. Should be good, though, and then I can get started on prepping next term's classes."

"Nice name." Jenny grinned. "Very aerodynamic. Hey, Lockheed. Good to meet you."
