Her laptop is open and plays ambient trance.

"My neice showed me the Drone Zone and it's great for studying. Get to work on your finals, gang. This is it. Go time."

She kicks back and reads the Neiman Marcus catalog.

Having survived his speech assignment with Principal Bristow, Jack comes in. He smiles at CJ, and then sets up shop, waiting for Paige to come in so they can work on their Psychology experiment.

Paige comes running in very shortly afterwards, carrying a set of poker chips and 4 sets of 2 sheets of words for the memory test.

"sorry I'm late," she says

((ooc-I was thinking maybe we could set up seperate threads for the rules/easy words/hard words?))

"No worries. Cool, you found poker chips. So, what's our prize going to be?"

[Good idea. Will you?]

"I figured we could give people the choice between a $10 voucher for the Emporium and a kiss fro you, that's gonna keep everyone happy right? And Lana, my roommate should be here soon, she promised she'd help and Sawyer's bound to show up at some point to."

((yep will do that now))

A piece of paper with the following information will be given to all participants.

Thank you for volunteering to help with our experiement, you will be given 2 sets of words (seperately, one easy, one difficult) which you will have one minute to memorize, the words will then be taken away and after 5 minutes you will have to recall these words and write them down.

For each word you correctly recall you will either be given a poker chip or not given anything, depending on which group you are in. The person with the most chips will be called at the end of the day to claim their prize.

Lana comes in a bit out of breath having just run upstairs to deposit her purchases and then run back down. "Hey, I'm here. What do I do?"

[OOC: Will be in either group, doesn't matter to me.]

"I'll hand you a list of 20 words, you get one minute to learn them, then I'll take the list away and in five minutes you have to write down as many as you can remember."

She hands her the words and sets her stop watch.

"I'm going to have you guys set up in back. Try to keep it down for anyone who actually needs to studay, ok?" She returns Jack's smile and continues flipping through her catalog, turning down corners.

Lana memorizes the words as best she can, then writes down what she remembers. She misses "pen" and "you".

[OOC: And non-chip is fine. :) ]

Paige nods, "That's cool, it shouldn't be noisey, I mean that's not the plan anyway, thanks Ms Cregg."

Lana repeats the procedure with the harder words and this time remembers them all.

"Hey, Paige, since this is so slow, I'm going to go set up a table in the library. Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah cool good idea," she says handing over half of the sheets, "meet back here about four and if we've not got enough people by then start begging?" she suggests

Paige is stil there giving hopeful looks to anyone that walks in, she really wants to pass Psych.

Yep still there, losing the will to live at this point.

Hey there... I've been everybody and their brother's psych dummy. What's one more. I'll play for chips.

Sawyer wasn't very good with remembering things, well, things he didn't want to remember. He stared at the words and then at Paige, "What the hell am I supposed to do?" he asks her curiously.

Paige grins and hands Sheps a bag with 40 chips in.

"Just check out those words until I til stop then, just sit for 5 minutes and write them down okay?"

"Oh and thanks Shep."
