Newspaper Meeting (16:00-20:00 fhs)

Jake is sitting crosslegged on the desks again, laptop in his lap. Next to him lies a piece of paper with a list on. Holiday Diversity is the title. A bunch of names are listed up as well. Jake's drinking coffee and regarding the laptop screen thoughtfully.

Angel came by for the meeting like a good little totally spelled out of his mind vampire.

"Hey all." His face lit up when he saw Jake and Krycek. "Guys! Great to see you!"

Krycek looked up, arching an eyebrow at the enthusiastic greeting. "Angel? Good to see you too," he ventured.

"How is everything with you?" Angel asked. He took a seat by Krychek. "I feel like you and I haven't talked in forever."

"Just the once, but that was Angelus," he said, frowning slightly. Krycek glanced from Jake to Angel in bemusement. "Almost a couple of months ago, now. Is something up?"

"Just my spirits," Angel said. "It's great to see you guys. Especially still together. You are still together, right?"

"...Uh. Yes?" Jake blinked in confusion. "Why wouldn't we be? Well, there's the coffee stealing, of course..." It was starting to dawn on him that Angel? Was being a bit.. weird.

"That is so great," Angel shook his head in amazement. "I'm so glad about that. I mean you two are such a great couple. And, I can't help but point out since, hello, not blind - a very attractive one too."

Krycek snorted lightly and snagged Jake's cup again. "I'll get the next cup," he assured him, then gave Angel a very odd look. "Thanks. ...Look, if this is part of making up for Angelus' trangressions, it's really not necessary."

"Making up for - oh, no," Angel said. "Not that I don't want to do that too, because I do. I just, I dunno, felt like telling you guys how much I enjoy spending time with you. Both of you. Together."

Jake blinked rapidly. Was Angel saying what Jake thought he was saying? Because that was... "Buh? I mean, what?I mean... Both of us together?"

"Yeah," Angel said. "Why not? You know some people are afraid of couples but not me. I say that's just an opportunity for twice as much fun. You know, company-wise."

Krycek stared at Angel, then threw a glance at Jake, eyebrows arched in surprise and some curiosity. "Right. Is this an invitation?" Angel didn't strike him as the type to pull pranks like this, really, but he was wary nonetheless, if intrigued.

Angel looked as though he were utterly oblivious to any problems in the conversation.

As intriguing as the possibility was, Krycek was concerned as to the reason for Angel's sudden gregarious behavior. "As much as I think it could be fun for all involved, maybe another day, Angel." If gremlins or cafeteria food were the cause, best to be giving him a chance to come down off that first. He eyed Jake speculatively and made a mental note to discuss this later. It never hurt to be prepared, after all.
