After office hours, Jenny unlocked the door into Study Hall, maneuvered her containers of coffee, bagels, and cream cheese for the students, then set up her laptop and started working.

"I only want the best," Angel confirmed. He moved to start nibbling on her neck.

Faith grinned, and debated how made Angel'd be when he got over his gremlin bite. Deciding that she didn't care, she slid a hand to the waistband of his pants, running a finger inbetween the fabric and his skin.

"Anything you can do I can do better," Angel said. He moved his hand to the waistband of Faith's jeans. Then he slipped it lower to tease along her thigh.

Marty bursts into Study Hall and sees Faith about to put her hand down Angel's pants. He dashes over, trips and almost falls on top of them.

"Angel! There's... aahhhh... trouble!"

He racks his brain trying to think of something and remembers-

"TOASTY! TOASTY'S HURT! YOU'VE GOT TO SAVE TOASTY!"

"Please. I can do anything better than you," Faith said with a smirk, playing with the button of his pants. "So, I'm curious- do you want to give the room a show, or should I drag you out to the girls' room or something?"

Angel was about to reply to Faith when Marty showed up right on top of them.

"Huh? What?" He shook his head and turned his attention back to nibbling Faith's ear. "Marty, can it wait for later?"

"IT'S TOASTY GOD DAMN IT! IT'S HURT! AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE SOME KIND OF HERO!"

Faith glares at Marty. "It's a toaster. An annoying one. Go away, we're busy."

"It's a talking toaster Faith. It's a sentient life form. We have to save it!"

"Sentient life form? Marty, it's a toaster. You don't drag people off to rescue Shep's Sims!"

"DAMN IT FAITH! Haven't you learned anything about diversity in this school?! We have to respect *ALL* forms of life! Even the ones that only toast bread and make delicious eggo waffles!" Marty shouted.

Inwardly? He wished that he thought up a better excuse to pull Angel off Faith.

"The damn thing's posessed. Possibly evil. And, like I said- it's a toaster, for God's sake! It's metal heart can not feel!" Faith yelled back.

Faith wasn't sure if laughing would be inappropriate.

"It's in pain Faith! How can you turn away from a possessed appliance in need! I thought a slayer was supposed to protect everyone! Where's your heart, damn it?! WHERE'S YOUR HEART?!"

Faith does laugh at this.

"It's a toaster! It's evil! I should slay it and follow my destiny!"

Marty looks at Faith in utter disbelief. He slams his fist down on the table.

"All it does is bring delicious buttery toast into the world! And making rhymes to amuse those who walk by! Damn it! I heard it say you were hot! How can you deny a toaster that has the hots heating coils for you?!"

Marty's volume and excellent use of font tags cut through some of the haze in Angel's brain. He blinked at Marty sleepily.

"What? Someone's in trouble?"

Marty grabs Angel by the arm (The one going down Faith's pants ZOMG why am I stopping this?) and starts pulling him away from Faith.

"Toasty! Toasty's in trouble! Sacred duty! Redemption calls! Free Toast!"

"I - " Angel was tugged by Marty and nearly fell out of the chair. He frowned as though Marty's words were making sense to him but only on a time delay which differed from Angel's usual interactions with the world in that...um... I'll get back to you

"Trouble," Angel repeated. "I - I do something about that. I help those in trouble!"

Marty rolled his eyes in frustration.

"YES! TROUBLE! OUT THERE! TOAST! EGGOS! RUN MAN! RUN!"

Well.... yelling got his attention last time.

"Faith, I - " Angel gave her an apologetic look as he stood up. "I gotta go. Sorry. Call me later so we can pick up where we left off?"

Angel stumbled along in the direction Marty kept trying to get him in. "Are you sure? She's an old friend. I don't want to be rude..."

Marty pushed Angel towards the door. "She's a slayer. She understands duty. Really. NOW MOVE!!"
