After Classics--and a quick trip to visit Daniel--Janet opened up the library, dropped her backpack in a corner, and started finding excuses not to work.

"I'm working on my Languages of Europe assignment. I'm really not looking forward to presenting," Piper sighed. "Yeah, I am. I can't wait for break. Are you going home?"

"I don't mind doing presentations," said Janet. "I just don't want to do the work leading up to it. The break should be nice." Not that she had a place to go home to. "I think I'm going on vacation instead. Some place warm. Are you looking forward to seeing your family?"
