After Classics--and a quick trip to visit Daniel--Janet opened up the library, dropped her backpack in a corner, and started finding excuses not to work.

Parker heard Marty yelling, and raised her head from the computer to see what the problem was.

"Blank, what are you doing on the floor?"

Marty looked up from his positon. "Guh! Uh! Angel! HANDS! Kissing! Floor!

"Marty fell," Angel said, helpfully.

Parker quickly came out from around the counter, shooting Angel a 'you're weird' glance before offering Marty a hand. "Hands? Kissing? The hell? How hard did you hit your head, Blank?"

Marty pointed his finger at Angel "Him! With the grabbing! And the kissing! Wrong! Oh so Wrong! The wrongness of wrong that was ever wronged!"

Angela blinks, rubs her eyes, then wittily blinks some more. "I didn't just see that. I didn't. I seriously, really didn't."

"Is your head okay, anyhow?" she asks Marty, going for the least weird bit of the equastion.

Marty glomps onto Angela. "Make the scary man go away."

'It's okay, baby, it's okay," Angela croons. "Nobody's going to hurt you or grab your ass again, except me."

She glares at Angel over Marty's shoulder. "Whatever this is? it is so not funny."

"Promise? that you'll grab my ass? Marty whimpered.

He then fumbled to a chair looking a little freaked out. He looked at his cell phone which he was holding in his hand in a white knuckle grip. The Voicemail notification was going off. Trying to focus, he checked the number and saw that it was from Piper.

"Huh."

"Huh, what?," Angela asks, glancing back at Angel and Parker.

"Voicemail. Piper must have returned my phone call," Marty said as he pressed in his code with a shaky hand.

He must have punched in the wrong code because a handful of chocolate candied almost spill out on to the floor.

Marty sighed and punched in his code again.

"Just when I think he's gotten as strange as he's going to get, he goes the distance and takes the gold." Parker walked over to them, making a face in the direction Angel went. "As socialized beings go, he's not."

"He's entering the Olympics of weird," Angela agrees, then turns to Marty. "Tell me what Piper said later, okay? I'm going to go help Zero with the returns so Angela can remain ignorant and doesn't have to look completely stupid when she talks to Angel in the newspaper meeting."

"Dumb. Fucking. Luck!"

Marty started dialing his phone like mad.

"Oooooh. We've stepped into a big pile of dog shit now. That was Piper, Bel cast a love spell. If what he just did was any indication, we've got some major mojo problems."

Marty starts heading for the door. "I'm calling in the troops. See if you can find where he went Parker. I'm going to see if I can find him as well."

"Crap!" Parker said, dismayed. "Hang on, let me leave a quick note here."

She quickly scribbed the following:

Angel under love spell. Gone to go hit him with a rubber mallet. Keep him here if he comes back. - Parker

In her speed to leave, she didn't notice when a breeze blew the note to the floor.

"I think I startled him," Angel said. He looked over at Angela. A slow smile spread across his lips. "Hey you."

Parker looked from Marty and Angela to Angel, and frowned. "Quit messing with his head, Wings! You're too good at it. Can't you get your jollies tormenting one of your ex-friends, instead of us?"

Angel looked confused. "I - I didn't mean to."

He rubbed his forehead as though he was getting a headache.

"How do you accidentally hit on someone?" Parker made a face. "Never mind, it's you, I'm sure you could find a way."

The frown on Angel's face deepened. "Maybe I should go. I think I have class."

"Yeah. You do that." Parker made shoo-ing motions with her fingers. "Buh-bye. See ya. Entertain yourself elsewhere, I don't want to know how."

Angel wandered off to places unspecifed so I don't Joss anybody. But not this thread anymore, at least.
