Welcome to Detention.

Lorelai hasn't programmed the Danger Room Shop because there are too many buttons and she doesn't want to break anything.

She has, however, arrived laden with bags and boxes of supplies.

"Okay gang," she says once everyone has checked in. "I realize you all apparently did very bad things or you wouldn't have ended up here. But it's almost Christmas, so instead of punishing you like some of the other teachers did, I'm going to make you spend the day making Christmas decorations."

She looks entirely too pleased with herself.

"I've brought in all kinds of craft supplies, including a ton of glitter. I'd like to use your finished products to decorate my husband's diner, so make them really good, okay?"

Thomasina takes the seat next to Lisa's, selects a stack of multi-coloured papers and a drawing utensil and settles in to cover the pieces of paper in 'markings'.

[OOC: Anyone who looks really carefully will be able to see that she's writing equations of some sort, but they belend in fairly well otherwise.]

"Oh those are pretty!" Lorelai says, looking over her shoulder.

Thomasina looks up, briefly, smiling at her equations being described as pretty. She thinks the things they describe are, of course, but their simple written forms have no particular beauty of their own, unless they gain some through the benefit of her handwriting Thank you, ma'am. They're meant for paper chains.

Ivanova rifles through her own stack of coloured paper, realises that she has no pourpaidh, and leans over, "Um, excuse me, can I steal a bit of your paper?" She waves her toilet paper tube a bit apologetically. "They need scarves."

Thomasina, who had returned to marking up her stack of paper, looks up again and, seeing that she's been joined by another girl, asks, What sort do you need? I seem to have rather an assortment here.

"Some purple, actually," she replies and manages to say it in English rather than Gaelic. "If you have any."

Thomasina adds the piece of paper she's currently marking up to the stack she already has set aside and starts sorting through the remains of the original pile, pulling pages out and naming their colours as she does so, I have violet. And lavendar. And royal purple. And an assortment of prints. Stripes and a paisley and a plaid with a bit of purple in. Which would you like to use?
