Investigator's Club, the Library -- NFB

After kicking out everyone who wasn't a library aide, a Librarian, or incipient club member, Parker hung a sign on the outside door:

INVESTIGATOR'S CLUB MEETING
PRIVATE

Then adjourned to the counter, where the brownies, drinks, cookies, and fudge were.

Hopefully, more than just Marty, Zero, Janet and the Souled Wonder were going to show.

Parker came over a few minutes later, Piper in tow. "Piper Halliwell, Miss Calendar. Miss Calendar, Piper. She's the only witch I know personally, and she's okay with being our coordinator for magic stuff with you. If that's okay?"

Alanna made a vague waving motion from where she was sitting. "Actually, vaguely magic here too, but very different type though."

"Lots of different kinds of magic," said Jenny, waving the girl over. "So. Jenny Calendar. New psych teacher. Nice to meet you."

Alanna jumped off of the desk and came over. "Alanna Trebond, Securities Officer." She made a small ball of purple light appear in her palm. "Gifted. Nice to meet you as well."

"Pretty," said Jenny, looking at the purple light. "So what does 'gifted' encompass?"

Alanna put the light out and jumped up on another desk. "It varies from person to person. I mostly use it for healing, but I can cast some spells, a few that are rather complex. I'm proud of my blocking wall. It managed to stand up in battle."
