Investigator's Club, the Library -- NFB

After kicking out everyone who wasn't a library aide, a Librarian, or incipient club member, Parker hung a sign on the outside door:

INVESTIGATOR'S CLUB MEETING
PRIVATE

Then adjourned to the counter, where the brownies, drinks, cookies, and fudge were.

Hopefully, more than just Marty, Zero, Janet and the Souled Wonder were going to show.

"I'm not signing anything until I know what it is that I'm signing up for," Cameron moved over to the table with food and grabbed some of everything.

He waved to Angel as he noticed him. "Are we still on for the steak tonight?"

"I was planning on it," Angel said. "Though it won't be celebrating the end of my first final anymore. Eppes moved it to next week. Sadistic bastard."

"That blows, man." Cameron winced in sympathy, then stuffed a cookie in his mouth.

"I studied and everything!" Angel had a severe pout going. He eyed the chocolate with sad eyes, hoping somebody would pass it to him because he was too lazy to reach.

"Sorry, man." Cameron patted Angel on the shoulder. "Here, chocolate cures everything," he said as he passed him a cookie.

"Thanks," Angel took the cookie and began to nibble on it. "Any coffee?"

"I don't know, I drink milk." Cameron shrugged and took some fudge.

Parker rolled her eyes. "Duh, like I'd make anyone sign a blank piece of paper without an explanation in this library? You'd be the one carrying a mallet before too long."
