The Big Show! Pageant Time!

Janine sets up the ticket booth outside the doors of the theater while Marshall runs the final tech check on the lights and sound equipment. This is going to be the best Holiday Pageant ever!

Anakin winced but was not going to mention it to anyone.

Beings who have been spending much of the night skipping about in blue tights didn't really have a lot of room to mock others, he decided.

There was a far too long pause, as though someone, perhaps someone undead but let's not point fingers here, had missed his cue.

Then there was a loud thump from above. Get your mind OUT of the gutter people!

Then there was a blur. And a ripping sound.

Both of those last two combined their audio-visual wonder twin powers to form the shape of Angel, hanging from rigging that had somehow twisted, grabbed him by the wrists, and tore his shirt off.

On the plus side, he had his pants on.

On the down side the rigging snapped before he could get a single line out.

Well, no, that's not true. On the way down he was heard to cry out "Behoooooooooooooooooold!"

"Buh?" Rory managed, just before the large, shirtless heavy mass of him landed on her.

Bridge stares at the Angel-and-Rory pile.

"That wasn't in the memo!" he squeaks.

Cally doesn't even notice the fallen Angel *rimshot*. She looks hard at the Baby-Jesus-Gremlin, and then just decides to hell with it.

She holds it close and snuggles it, rubbing it's nose with her finger.

The gremlin stopped mid-snore.

He was being snuggled! His eyes flew open when Cally touched his nose. There has been nothing in the agreement about being cuddled.

The gremlin opened his mouth wide and bit Cally on the finger.

Cally stares for a second at the gremlin, as the venom courses through her veins.

She stomps off the stage. There's a sudden shout of "Frak You!" and something small and green lands on stage.

It's best not to think about too much about this.

"No!" Rory yelped, flailing and trying to shove him off of her "Get off me. Ew!"

Angel jumped off of Rory and scooted back a few feet.

He then automatically checked to make sure he was still wearing his pants.

"Um..." he said, intelligently.

"That's not your line, is it?" Rory asked, glaring at him and sitting up to check for bruises. "Because I thought Gabriel said something kind of important and, oh, articulate there. But hey, I don't know my Bible that well. Maybe that's all it was. 'Um.'"

"Oh like the one joy of my unlife is accidentally falling on something that could kill me!" Angel snapped. "Speaking of which, where was that help hours ago in the common room?"

Angel put his hand to his eyes. When he spoke his voice was loud and frustrated.

"For the love of GOD why can't I just get to the part where I say Look who's coming to gift the baby now!"
