The Big Show! Pageant Time!

Janine sets up the ticket booth outside the doors of the theater while Marshall runs the final tech check on the lights and sound equipment. This is going to be the best Holiday Pageant ever!

Vala stumbles out from behind the curtain ~~almost as though she'd been pushed~~ and then puts on her brightest and most fake, I'm gonna kill someone later for this smile.

"Uh, hi!" She waves. "Dean Bristow ~~completely shanghaied me! zomg! help!~~ asked me to do a little pre-show entertainment for you. So I'm going to tell you what I've learned about Crissmass in my time here at Fandom High.

First of all, there was a baby-god, who was born in a barn, because his parents were poor and didn't have any money to pay their taxes. But shepherds and smart men and all showed up to give him presents, and that's why we give people presents on Crissmass." She pauses, looking confused for a moment. "And there's a bit about a camel, although what the camel's doing in the barn I'm not sure. Also later the baby-god is killed with a tree, but we don't talk about that now."

She's warming up to her tale now. "Then there's Santa, who isn't gay after all and is even married!" She turns to glare backstage. "Meaning some people have been making him cheat on his wife with a certain household appliance, which isn't really in the spirit of the season or anything!" Looking back to the audience, she composes herself. "Now this Santa takes all the presents that parents buy for their little kids and he dances around and puts them in socks and under Crissmass trees and takes all the credit. Because it's more festive that way.

"But just for little kids. Then a guy named Walace tells you it's all a hoax and you laugh and then your parents just give you stuff...." She looks concerned for a second, then resolved. "And all of you are old enough to know that by now. So there.

"The Crissmass tree itself is all bright and pretty and sparkly, and it dances too, so I guess you should be careful what you put on it.

And, uh, that's what I learned here at Fandom High about this amazing season. Thank you!"

She bows, smiles, and then ~~scurries~~ walks off the stage ~~as fast as she can~~.

Maia screams and claps for Vala's wonderful retelling of the true meaning of christmas.

Wesley applauds. There's nothing like watching the folk process up close.

Cameron's glad he at least explained Vala the basics already as he hates to imagine what she would have come up with otherwise. That being said, he slides a bit lower in his seat at the mention of his childhood friend.

Parker bites her hand to keep the giggles under control, especially at the part about "Santa's married, and not gay," and the part about Wallace. There's always a Wallace.

Alanna snickered. She had no idea what was supposed to have actually happened but this version was way too funny.

CJ's jaw drops and she is utterly horrified at Vala's understanding of the season.

Jack slides in next to CJ and snickers massively.

Elizabeth just giggles helplessly. She can't help herself. She just sits there, giggling.

[The Doctor grins wildly and applauds when she's done. It actually sounds like she's got the hang of it.]

What are you applauding for? She's...she's...what the hell was that?

A very, very, very, VERY original take on the season. [Jack stands up and hoots and hollars.]

Chip sit down! That was all wrong! That was...I'm...oh my Lord.

Angela laughs and applauds.

[CJ gawks at the backof Angela's head]

[Chiana giggles and applauds. She has no idea if any of that was right, but it sounded fun!]

Piper giggles and applauds.

Veronica shakes her head but also applauds.

Kara wondered what it was all about. She feels very informed now.

Once Sam closed her mouth, she started giggling a lot. She also made sure to snap a couple of pictures.

Shep is laughing to hard to really applaud properly, but he has decided that Vala really needs to write the Holy Book for the next religion to take mass hold of the world. She did much better than the last guy.

Zero fights very hard to not burst out giggling. At one point she has to actually put her hand over her mouth.

Lee feels even more confused now.

Aeryn's a little worried that most of the information she's gotten about this holiday is from Vala.
