The Big Show! Pageant Time!

Janine sets up the ticket booth outside the doors of the theater while Marshall runs the final tech check on the lights and sound equipment. This is going to be the best Holiday Pageant ever!

*squeaking in time with the musice, no less.*

Hearing the squeaking, Cameron looks over his shoulder for a moment and grins. Maybe they should have included Rover in the pageant.

Vala follows his gaze and snickers into her hand. "That's just adorable!"

Angela grins at Rover, then at the stage. Watching Rory -- and Rover --shimmy is just too much fun.

The Tick looked at Rover in the seat next to him.

He watched Rover watching Rory glimmer and shimmy.

He watched Rover watching Rory shimmy and wiggle.

He watched Rover shimmy and wiggle, too.

And he listened as Rover squeaked in time with the music, no less.

This was perhaps the most inexplicably strange thing The Tick had ever seen.

Parker is holding her sides as Rory shimmies, and a disembodied voice calls for "jazz hands!"

"TELL me you're getting this, Barbossa. Heh."

Aeryn doesn't know whether to slide down into her seat or not to. She just hopes Parker's getting poictures.

Barbossa's laughing so hard tears are streaming down his face. "Every priceless moment," he replied.

Lorelai notices someone with a camera.

"Please tell me you'll make copies of this available," she begs, laughing hysterically.

"I think that kin be arranged," Barbossa said with a grin.

Parker falls out of her chair as the Zombie King and Queen interpret their love. Through dance. And jazz hands!

"Oh, we *need* a school TV station..."

"We really, really do," Barbossa said, wiping his eyes. "Jes' so we can watch this every mornin' before classes start."

Lorelai hoots and hollars.

"That's my girl!" she calls out, wishing she had remembered to bring her camera.

Elizabeth can barely hold the camera still she's shaking so much with the giggles.

But she still manages to take several shots, and also use it for video footage.

Especially when Jaye starts shimmying.

Zero stares, mouth half-open. "Best. Christmas pageant. Ever. Somebody tell me there'll be DVDs!"

"Barbossa's taping. I know I would pay a lot."

Yes! I know what my brother's gettin' for Christmas!

Wesley mutters under his breath. If you were close enough to hear (and nobody is), he'd be saying, "Is it just me, or is portraying zombies around here just BEGGING for trouble? If everybody starts losing body parts tomorrow, don't blame ME."

*A small, skeletal rat, dressed in a santa hat, comes scampering up with a small card addressed to Wesley. He is radiating a sense of dread and cannot be seen by most of the audience. The card reads:

Zombies are People Too! Fight to Fashion Fascism!

The rat scampers away*

Wesley looks at the card in puzzlement. "Zombies are not people. Zombies are former people animated by eldritch arts." He looks around. Where did he get this card, anyway? He feels vaguely uneasy, but puts it down to having nearly caught Parker's eye. He shudders.

If there was one thing Tick really didn't expect to see tonight, it was Angel naked from the waist down.

*Hamlet finally makes it into the auditorium about half-way through the dance number. She stares in shock for a few minutes, then smiles wickedly, pulls out his camera, and takes a bunch of pictures of Anakin and Jaye's zombie dance-off. He'd be giggling like mad if he wasn't so darn emo, but he grins anyway and hopes no one sees him smile in the dark.*

Then Parker turns around to get a picture of--

wow, wardrobe malfunction. Wa-hoa.

She wonders if Callisto will want copies. Then she grins.
