Hello, students, fellow teachers, and other assorted peoples around! I am The Tick, and I will be teaching a Criminal Justice class. Crime is the oyster at the Restaurant of Life. It looks interesting, maybe even yummy, but it's been sitting out for days and if you eat it, you'll get a bad feeling in your Stomach of Truth! I am the Maître d' and you, the students, are the customers. You can look at Crime and take the chance of ordering it, or you can say "Nay!" and call the Health Department!

I am looking at a schedule of Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10 AM, for Justice must be an Early Riser! After all, the Early Bird arrests the Worm and sentences him to five years. Students should be prepared for random labs, though, for Justice must be Vigilant! If you would like to take this class and it interferes with your schedule, let me know.

Grading will be based on short discussions of Justice and the tiny little puzzle pieces that make up Justice Pie, performance in labs, and possible extra credit in arts and crafts. Try your best, and I'm sure you'll all get a grade of "KEEN!"

I don't follow. But it just goes to show, that in life, everyone can be a student and everyone can be a teacher. But not everyone can be paid for teaching and not everyone can pay for studenting, because that's just madness! How would I buy gum?!

Many things in life are scary, but you have to face them! Because if you don't face them, you have no clue what they're doing behind your back! There could be bunny ears! How would you know?

I know a guy with big bat ears. They aren't very scary on him.

One isn't accustomed to having steady rising and sleeping hours aboard ship, sir, and I've been assigned to sufficient Dog Watches that these hours are no hardship. I would very much like to sign up for this course.

I had a dog once. Actually, he was a large rodent, but that's like a dog. He didn't need to be watched, though. He didn't do much. Anyway, welcome to the class!

Sir, I just realised the Tuesday session may interfere with my Business Class (we don't know if it's AM/PM yet), so I would only be able to make the last hour. I could make up for extra credit somehow?

That's fine! Just participate in class discussion while you're in class, and be be vigilant for the labs, and you'll be fine. Justice may be a harsh mistress, but she is understanding to righteous citizens.

(ooc: It's okay. Just don't let it happen again. Or else. I don't know "Or else what?" so it's really a poor threat, I suppose.)
