Journalism Class - Tuesday December 6
Spider is absent, although the cat is sprawled across the desk, looking smug. It is currently using today's attendance pad as a scratch pad - and not in the conventional sense. The huge screen behind it is lit with two lines of text.
"I hate the holiday season and I do not celebrate.
Take the time to choose a holiday tradition of some sort and attempt to convince me that it would be fun."

There's a page missing here, damn it. Will correct when I can. Basically, a newsfeed reporter made the mistake of approaching Spider and asking him, jocularly, how he was going to celebrate the holidays and who with.

"One holiday tradition that seems to have grown more popular in my hometown is caroling. The general idea of caroling is to gather with a group of friends and travel from one house to another, serenading the inhabitants with joyous tunes of familial bonding and the birth of Jesus. However, a vast improvement on this idea comes when the group of friends get drunk beforehand (preferably on festive eggnog, but any alcohol will do) and sing alternate lyrics to the songs, such as 'Stephen, the Alternative Lifestyle Reindeer.' Extra points are often awarded for making it all the way around the neighborhood without tripping and injuring oneself."
