History Class (12-02-05)

Dewey is listening to the Conkleheads and eating packaged snacks and candies while checking the scores on his Bumblebee phone.

Introduction to World History to 1600 (Terran)

"The Renaissance was freakin' awesome. With like, art and stuff." He brings out the guitar.

"A world of darkness swept the land,
And to change all of this one man
Came to us and said 'Hey dudes!'
'Medievalism is kinda crude!'

"And his name waaaaaaas....

Dewey begins to strum madly. He actually hits a real tune now and again.

"Leonardo Da Vinci Pride of Florence,
You'll know of him when I finish my chorus,
He painted chicks and Jesus too
And whirligigs that might've flew!

"Some scholars claim that he was gay
But my man Leo wouldn't be that way
He was hip deep in the ladies candy
Mona would say he was randy!"

"Leeeeeeooooonaaaaardooooo! DA VINCI!"

"Your study question today is two-fold! One! Tell me how awesome my song was. Two! Describe what you'd do with the big LDV if you could hang out with him."

Maia did not have a lighter with her so she put her hand in a fist and stuck her thumb up and waved it back and forth during the song and mocked a headbanging. When it ended she sat speechless. "That was...wow, you should write like educational songs and things sir."

Maia considered the question "I think I would ask him to reveal his Code to me sir, like in that book. I'd wanna see all the secrets in the chest."

Elizabeth politely applauded.

"I'd probably ask him about his designs, and where he got the ideas from," she said.

Duce listened to the song, and then very politely (if a bit blandly) said, "Your song was awesome."

She thinks about the second question, "Totally ask him about the walking on water shoes he had in Ever After. Those? Cute."

Alanna clapped politely. "Yes, um, that most definetly rocked. And I would like to ask him about the Mona Lisa because the mun is writing about her right now I think that the painting is fascinating."

((We should, and yet, still do. I'm setting a record for times kicked out. But thankfully I work there so they can't revoke me permanently))
