"Crowley is your basic pimp daddy demonic pain in the ass. He's... ah 'friends' with Phale so we try and tolerate each other. Yeah, I've been working at Phale's on and off for the last two months or so. Only sold two books, but apparently that's how Mr. Phale likes it. Odd guy."

Marty smiles. "I don't ask. It's one of those things you are better off not knowing. You should meet Phale sometime. Great guy. Crowley? Not so much."

"I can't imagine anyone who could be described as a 'pimp daddy demon' would be good news," says Janet. "So you work at the bookstore? Is it better than the library, do you think?"

"Well you get to interact with some people in town. Plus there's the whole evil element that comes to see Crowley. Not fun to watch, but at least you can keep tabs on them. Plus? They have great coffee right there in the store. And cookies."
