There is no sign of Spider today. There's a small sign tacked to his desk reading: "Due to class projects, today's class has been cancelled. If you need to make any further arrangements with the Professor, please send him a voicemail and he'll get right back to you. Please sign here for attendance credit."

Duce frowns at him, "A bullet to the head didn't stop him for long and you think you'd have had a chance of taking him out all weekend? When you were going into fuck-knows-what?" She snorted, "You are the cockiest son of a bitch we have ever met, Alex Krycek." Tilting her head at him, she asks, "Was it worth it? Did you.. find what you were looking for?"

"In a way," he says, smirking in agreement with her assessment. "But it was worth it. And I don't ever have to go back."

Duce's eyebrows appear over her glasses, "Not ever?" She thinks about it for about three seconds and scowls, "Good. Don't. We don't like a world that has people..things.. whatever.. that would shoot Jake. That's just.. as he would say.. not on."

"Not ever," he says, nodding again. "They didn't want me there, I'm certainly not going to impose." Krycek pauses "How was Vegas, by the way?"

"Good to know we can stop worrying you'll experience Total Existence Failure from home, then," she remarks.

"Vegas was a blast! We saw Cirque and the kitty museum and a naked all male review, and we watched the boys gamble, and got married to Faith, and ate sooo much food!" She grins, remembering.
