Journalism Class - Friday December 2
There is no sign of Spider today. There's a small sign tacked to his desk reading: "Due to class projects, today's class has been cancelled. If you need to make any further arrangements with the Professor, please send him a voicemail and he'll get right back to you. Please sign here for attendance credit."

and possibly notice that his roommate has pretty much moved out, dear oblivious dipshitbefore meeting Buffy at The Perk after class - he can take his time. Xander ambles back out of the classroom, sniffing experimentally in the direction of the cafeteria.no subject

Her voice is flat in a way that would almost lead you to expect her to call you HAL. "He left us voicemail about modelling for him on Monday."

"So I'd like to think you could forgive me, but that's up to you, in the end." He finishes, looking somewhat uncomfortable, and still tense. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if she walked away at this point, and he wouldn't really blame her for it.

She watches him for a moment and then tries this whole shiny new 'talking' thing he asked her for two weeks ago. "Right now, we're very angry. Because it hurt, not even knowing you were back safely before we heard on the radio that Jake had been shot in the head." She looks at him levelly, still expressionless, "Thinking you had shot him. Telling ourself you wouldn't have. Knowing that, if you had reason, you would. Not knowing he was ok until we saw that he'd called us, and heard a message where he sounded completely unconcerned about anything but us modelling for him on Monday. Not knowing you were ok until we saw you today. All because you didn't return a phonecall."
The muscle in her jaw tenses again. "In the end, none of that is important. None of it. Because you are both back and you are both alive, and no matter how hurt and angry we are right now, at least you're here for us to be angry at."

"Vegas was a blast! We saw Cirque and the kitty museum and a naked all male review, and we watched the boys gamble, and got married to Faith, and ate sooo much food!" She grins, remembering.
