"Yep." Angel paused. "Nope? Whichever one means I'm not kidding."

"Okay, that beats shepherd." Callisto snorted. "Will there be wings and a halo?"

"Yes. Though, fortunately, something underneath the robe as well."

"Yeah, that's fortunate." Callisto does not look the least bit disappointed.

"Yeah 'cause with those stage lights and an all white robe and nothing underneath..." Angel trailed off, squirming at the thought. Possibly because he was now imagining Callisto in the robe.

"Yeah, that could be embarrasing." Callisto did not want to be in her bunk, not at all.

"Humiliating."

"Very."

"One would probably feel a great deal of heat during a moment like that. On your cheeks, I mean. Blushing."

"Yeah, and red and white really don't go together. Or at least that shade of red."

"Right. Wouldn't want to ruin the effect by getting all flushed."

"No, after all angels aren't really supposed to get all flustered."

"Cool and confident. Hardly ever distracted."

"Yeah. Distraction's bad, makes you lose your focus."

"Forget what you were thinking about."

"Or what you're doing."

"Or what you're saying."

"Or why you're saying it."

"Or why you can't stop yourself."

"Even when you think that would be a really good idea."

"A very good idea, which is surprisingly hard to resist."

"So you just keep going, digging yourself in deeper."

"Starting to forget why you wanted to stop."

"Just hoping that if you stick with it long enough you'll remember."

"Enjoying the process no matter how it turns out."
