Chloe sits in the Journalism classroom, tapping away at her laptop. If you glance at the screen fast enough, you might catch her playing solitaire before she switches windows and brings up actual work.

"Veronica! Hey!" Chloe looks up from her computer, grinning.

"I've got interviews lined up with Piper and Phoebe Halliwell and Tara Maclay for my story this week. I'm doing a feature on witches."

Callisto wanders in after Sociology. "Hey Chloe."

Chloe gives Veronica an intrigued look. "Ooh, that sounds like fun. My experience with witches has been...less than pleasant, but I know Piper and Tara are probably very different, and good."

"Hey Callisto," Chloe says, waving. "How's it going?"

"Well, I'm pretty good friends with Piper and Phoebe. And I interviewed Tara when she first started here. And I'm pretty sure none of them will turn into murdering psychopaths and risk my journalistic integrity a few weeks after the story runs."

Rory wanders in, carrying her laptop (which, if one looked carefully, still has a bit of waffle on it) and curls up on the couch in the back. "Hey, blonde people," she calls as she sits.

"Apart from gremlins stealing my clothes, being drafted into the Dean's freaky religous rituals, my vampiric non-boyfriend going all wacky on me, and John's toaster trying to get me to sleep with Angel? I'm doing okay." Callisto nods "What about you?"

"I'm not blonde," Angela says, wandering in after Rory. "Not since I was, six, anyhow."

She smiles, seeming to be in a positively pbubbly mood by Angela standards. "How is everyone?"

"I could be blond," Jake comments, shuffling in. He looks tired.

"So could I," Angela says, giving a piece of her own hair a cross-eyed look. "I'd just need to bleach out the red."

She laughs, realizing who she's talking to. "You would probably need fewer chemicals, right?"

"We like you better as a brunette though," Chloe teases. "Are you okay?"

"Not your fault," Angela says, sternly. "And yeah, most of the witches here seem tobe very cool. Though I don't really know Piper."

"Piper is very cool," Chloe says. "And I agree with Angela," she adds to Veronica. "What happened was not your fault."

"I know... but still... it makes me wonder if anyone will take my next article seriously."

"Mmm." Jake nods. He drops down in the couch next to Rory and closes his eyes. "Tired, is all."

Chloe frowns softly, thinking. "Well, it's not like anyone doubts that Tara is a good person. Or Piper or Phoebe. So that already puts them at a different level than Angel and the JA. I don't think people will see this article the same way."

"I'm all right. It's been kind of a weird day. Don't even talk to me about that toaster omg. Not that that's any different from your average day here, I suppose."

"I got to tour Special Collections," Angela volunteers. "And I think I'm engaged to the toaster."

"At least the weird was fun today."

"That's true," Veronica says slowly. "Thanks, Chloe." She smiles at her roomie.

"I'm gonna ask Crichton if I can take a sledgehammer to it. Suppose not," Callisto shrugs. "Anything in particular you need me to do this week?"

"Lucky you. You're not even a cat," Rory smiles, looking up over her laptop at Angela. "S'okay, Logan and I are apparently having a threesome with it."

Rory pats his arm. "Jakey, why so sleepy?" She arches a brow. "You're not a psychic who's been hijacking my dreams, are you?"

Angela smiles. "I told Parker I had to be girl-shaped when we were done, and it worked. Didn't lose any body parts either. But dude, there's a monkey back in there." She stretches her arms over her head.

"Do you still want to work in the library next term? Or did I make up that we talked about that?"
