Newspaper Crew Meeting: 16:00 FHS-20:00 FHS

Chloe sits in the Journalism classroom, tapping away at her laptop. If you glance at the screen fast enough, you might catch her playing solitaire before she switches windows and brings up actual work.

Angel gave Chloe a semi-nervous smile right back. "Hey. I - uh - I wanted to talk about this newspaper thing. You know, since I've got a soul now."

"Angelus worked for the paper," Angel said. He had the expression of one who hoped that the other person understood him, even though the likelihood of that happening was slim. "But I'm not him."

"Close," Angel smiled, relieved he was getting the message through. "Can't. 'cause Angelus.... talked. And I don't."

"...yes," Angel had to acknowledge. "But, still - " he gave another hopeful look that surely Chloe had to agree on this point " - words."

"There's another thing," Angel said, more seriously. "Before I worked for Rory. That's not something I can do to her right now. Not the least of which is I promised a lot of people I wouldn't come anywhere near her."

[ooc: must go to bed. slowplay w/ you or Jake tomorrow?]

Angel looked thoughtful. "Does this count as a club? 'cause the JA membership has obviously expired."

Angel looked like he really wanted to say no, but...

"Small words," he said. He indicated the size of something teeny tiny by pressing his hands together. "Very little articles. Microscopic."
