Chloe sits in the Journalism classroom, tapping away at her laptop. If you glance at the screen fast enough, you might catch her playing solitaire before she switches windows and brings up actual work.

Rory watches Chloe go off to talk to Alex, and turns back to Jake.

"Who?" she asks quietly. "If you want to talk about it, I mean."

Jake makes a sleepy noise, then glips his eyes at Rory. "Scary mean alien dude. But Alexeij spiked him." His head tips onto Rory's shoulder. "'Lexeij is great," he mumbles.

"Yes, Alex is fab, dear," Rory replies softly, slipping an arm around his shoulders. "Do you want me to take you back home? You need sleep, Jake."

"Meeting!" Jake protests into her shoulder.

"Chloe will let us know if anything interesting happens. It's kind of dead in here anyway. And if you don't want to go all the way to the house, you can crash in my room, if you want," Rory offers.

He tilts his head back and regards her sleepily. "Your room?"

"Uh huh. It's not very far. And you can nap there all you want," Rory nods.
