Study Hall (11/30/2005)

Jenny unlocks the doors, a little bit late because her player forgot and unloads coffee and doughnuts bought from the NPC Donut Shop. She's not sure how many students show up to study hall, but if there are leftovers, she can always dump them in the cafeteria.

"I thought it was your standard infirmary," she shrugged, still preferring being treated by Janet, but whatever. "Doctor Wilson's really nice, and Doctor House is pretty entertaining, if not what I'd normally call friendly. They seemed to give people good care, from the little I know about medicine."

She smiled. "Danced the tango, huh? With Kara, or some other woman?"

"Oh Sam," and he looks a bit dreamy, "is there another woman in the world?"

She grinned. Most of the guys of her acquaintance didn't do dreamy. Nightmarey, sure. "You're really gone over her, huh, Adama? That's sweet."

Lee blushes. "Sorry, um... so err..." Lee says searching for a conversation topic that isn't Kara and how it's problematic, not exactly sweet.

"No, don't apologize," Sam rushed to reassure him. "I'm sorry. I've made you uncomfortable. Again."

Wow, not her day for conversations. "So, I'm just...gonna shut up now, I think. Not that I don't like talking to you, but, oh boy, that came out wrong, too." She fidgeted in her chair. "I guess I'm gonna try and pull my foot out of my mouth, if that's okay with you."

"Sam," he says with a grin, "It's quite easy to make me uncomfortable, I'm unfortunately wired this way," and he laughs. "You're fine...I'm just... tell I'm too young to be listening to my parents on their relationship advice to me, especially when they're divorced."
