Study Hall (11/30/2005)

Jenny unlocks the doors, a little bit late because her player forgot and unloads coffee and doughnuts bought from the NPC Donut Shop. She's not sure how many students show up to study hall, but if there are leftovers, she can always dump them in the cafeteria.

Lee comes in looking for John, hands clenched and eyes narrowed.

Cameron jumps up on the chair beside Lee and yawns. His walk to town has worn him out.

"Hey Cameron," Lee says sullenly and scratches his ears.

Ack. Ear thing. Ear thing.

Cameron eagerly shuffles closer to Lee for more scritchies.

Despite knowing that the darling creature is Cameron, Lee continues to lavish scritchies.

Cameron waits until a student opens the door and then runs into the study hall. He's a bit disappointed as Dream isn't there because it's nice to be able to talk to someone. He wouldn't mind a doughnut, though, and he's starting to realise he's not beyond begging either.

"Hey, Cameron," said Jenny. She fed him a plain glazed doughnut, because she wasn't sure if dogs could have chocolate or not. "Still no solutation to the dog problem, huh?"

Cameron shakes his head. Waiting it out doesn't seem like a real solution to him.

He bites into the doughnut, the other half falling down onto the ground as he chews enthusiastically. He's kinda of a messy eater.

Jenny grins and shrugs. She should've known better.

"I got caught up after class yesterday. There were some scheduling conflicts that came up right at the last minute for some students." Jenny reaches down and scratches the fur on Cameron's head. "Tell you what. I'll head down to the library and see what I can find today, okay?"

At least the food is stopping him from putting himself out there again. When he turns human again, he's so writing an ode to opposable thumbs.

/I'd appreciate it, even if Lorne seems to think it will wear off./ He barks in reply, not that she'll understand him.

After an unsuccessful trip to the library (where he got to play fetch, hee!) Draco comes into study hall and sits in his normal spot. He was thinking about going back to his room and hiding out but he knew it was going to all come out sometime. So instead he sat at the table and tried to make himself look as inconspicuous as possible.

Being the nice guy that he is, Lee walks over to introduce himself to the new student. "Hey... I'm Lee Adama!"

Draco would roll his eyes but he couldn't be mean to Lee, he was too nice. "Lee, you know who I am." he lowers his voice a little "It's Draco."

Lee blinks. Only in Fandom. "So Beka turns into a hamster, Cameron into a dog, and you turn into a red head?" he says, trying to hide his amusement. "Happen to have any cute red headed sisters?"

Cameron objects to being called a dog. He's a wolf, damnit.

Sam came into the room and took a seat, waving to Lee and Cameron.

Cameron barks 'yo' at Sam. It's actually kinda understandable.

She smiled. "Hey, Cameron. I see you're still a dog. Did anyone feed you?" She blushed, slightly, unsure of how she'd look Cam in the eyes ever again. "And I..er...assume you took care of any other personal matters?"

Oh gee, not something he wanted to discuss. Cameron whines softly and bows his head, hiding his nose under his paw. He does look a bit longingly at the doughnuts, he won't object to getting fed some more.

Following the direction of Cameron's stare, Sam walked over to the doughnuts and brought a couple back on a napkin for him, placing them on the floor. "Let me know if you want to get something that's better for you. I can pick up some hamburger for you or something."

Lee waves at Sam and offers her another mint. "How goes it, Miss Carter?"

Sam wondered if Lee was trying to tell her something. Every time she saw him lately, he offered her a mint. She took one, though, just in case.

"Turned down proposals (both indecent and otherwise) from a toaster this morning, embarrassed myself in front of a teacher, learned Greek verbs. You know, the usual. You?"

"Ah, you've met John's talking toaster," Lee says with a grimace, reminded of why he came to study hall in the first place.

"That stupid thing belongs to John?" She noted Lee's expression. "Why? What'd it say to you?"
