Shop Class: 11/29
When the students enter the room, they'll find that it has been turned into a scrap yard again. A standard metal workshop is available as well.
"Today we'll be making a human powered vehicle based on what you find here in the junk yard."
The Rules:
Vehicle must be able to hold four people
Must be able to turn and run on a racing track.
No engines
No welding bicycles together, though bike parts can be used.
Must be safe (Mac will judge)
Helmets must be worn while operating the vehicle.
"Get Started!"

Re: Class Assignment
John took some bike wheels that were not scavanged yet, and found some wheels that looked like they came off a golf cart or a dolly. He fabs up a rudimentary steering mechanism from some bike handlebars and attatches this to the rudder/tiller control on the paddleboat. He sticks the larger bicycle wheels on the ends of the paddlewheel.
And it was done. John then added 4 life vests for safety.
