Shop Class: 11/29

When the students enter the room, they'll find that it has been turned into a scrap yard again. A standard metal workshop is available as well.

"Today we'll be making a human powered vehicle based on what you find here in the junk yard."

The Rules:
Vehicle must be able to hold four people
Must be able to turn and run on a racing track.
No engines
No welding bicycles together, though bike parts can be used.
Must be safe (Mac will judge)
Helmets must be worn while operating the vehicle.

Marty comes into the shop pushing/dragging an item he had picked up at the scrap yard this morning and waves at Bridge.

"Hey Bridge! I hope you don't mind me bringing the project idea I had in mind here. If you can get it working and paint it purple you'd be my hero forever. Also here's my cell phone. It started smoking yesterday and of course doesn't work any more. Can you fix it?"

Bridge gives the item in question a thoughtful once over.

"Between Callynanders and I? Absolutely, dude, not a problem."

Marty grins. "You rock. How much to do the work on the phone and *that*?"

Marty points to the object that he hauled up from the junkyard.

"And can you get that done before Christmas?"

Bridge runs a hand through his hair and frowns thoughtfully. "I dunno, I'm not usually the one who decides what we charge... it won't be too much, I think, though, so don't worry about it." He shrugs, "and yeah, before Christmas shouldn't be a problem at all."
