Parker folded her arms and gave Rory a look. "Yes, you do. And that someone got a suite *on purpose*. Because she is a lousy roommate, at last report. Plus, she has a bunny. With its own habitat. There's not a lot of room left in my place."
"No, he'd be delighted with her! Vladdie loves everyone," Rory said solemnly. "And I don't think he'd eat anything that didn't come in a bottle at this point."
Sighing, Parker studied Rory. "He really has you spooked, doesn't he?" she asked, her voice quiet. "You know he's just down the hall from me, at Crichton's. You might run into him sometimes."
Rory nodded. "Yeah, but he doesn't have an invitation to your room. Plus, there's Janet and Jack and Liz and Charlie and John and Aeryn and you all around if something comes up."
Thinking it over for a couple minutes, Parker ended up sighing. "Okay. If it's only temporary. And if Vladdie doesn't bug Esmerelda. And if you realize that I *love* my sleep and should never be awakened unless it's a matter of life or death or undeath. And...." She throws up her hands. "I am so gonna regret this."
"Yay!" Rory practically squealed. "And seriously, you don't have to worry about me. I love my sleep too. I'm very quiet. I have an espresso machine and a waffle iron, and I always keep like, food around. And I share! And Vladdie is very well-behaved. Generally."
Parker suddenly had another thought. "If Butterfly-Brain chews *any* of my shoes, I won't be responsible for the consequences. I'll make sure they're in the closet, but if he gets in there, he better not think they're *toys*." She smiled grudgingly. "Espresso and waffles sound like a good trade, though. How long do you want to stay? Until you get a new place worked out, I suppose?"
"Vladdie doesn't chew shoes," Rory assured her. "And...um. Yeah, I guess that sounds right. Until I can figure out where to go next, I suppose." She shot Parker an apologetic look.
Parker made a face. "If you're still there by New Year's, I'll tell Echolls you want to move in with him. And you *know* how much I'd love that. But, if you need to be there until the end of the term.... it won't kill me."
"I'll be out by the new year," Rory promised, making a face. "If for no other reason than...living with Logan? And Jake? And Barbossa? Would be...weird."
"Yeah, the sheer testosterone alone...." Parker laughed. "Okay. When do you want to move in? How much stuff do you have? I can probably ask Scooter for another dresser for a few weeks, if you think you'll need it."
"Nah, I have a little dresser. And I don't have much stuff, really. Bed, desk, dresser, bookcase...okay, books might be a problem. I'll have to keep some under my bed and probably ask Logan to store some at his place, because otherwise things'll get crowded," Rory said thoughtfully.
"You could always put them in storage," Parker pointed out. "At least the ones you won't need for a month. Come by tonight, we'll reconfigure Esme's habitat so it doesn't take up as much floorspace, and we'll move the rest in after that." She cocked an eyebrow. "And we'll see who else we can charm into helping when we do that. Look pathetic at Echolls, I'm sure he'll help."
"He'll be so pleased by my choice of suitemates," Rory said dryly, grinning. "I have a bunch of friends on the second floor. People'll be glad to help. And...yeah. Thanks."

Her brows shot up as if struck by a thought. "I do know someone with a suite, though," she noted casually, glancing sidelong at Parker.
