Ash's Art Appreciation, Studio # Something

Ash stands in front of the class. Construction paper, plastic scissors, crayons, glue, feathers, sequins, beads, the whole very lot is spread out today. The instructions are, gasp, NOT on the chalkboard. When students arrive Ash holds up a piece of construction paper, and begins demonstrating.

"You put your hand on the paper like so." He places his hand on the paper. "Then you trace around it, and you've got yourself the basis for a HAND TURKEY, kids! Have fun! Go gobble-gobble wild!"

"Oh, and Jake Gavin? If you wanna turn in that extra credit, any time is fine. Any time."

Ash sits at his desk, and begins playing Tetris on his Gameboy. He looks up suddenly.

"Oh, and has anybody seen my fez?"

Barbossa was entirely too entertained by this assignment. By the end of class he had an entire hand-turkey crew for a construction-paper ship he had christened the "Jolly Gobbler."

Predictably, they all had eyepatches.
