Beka frowned, then pouted playfully. "And here I thought it was another endearment." Should I be worried, Cam? Lopsided smiles are...not exactly your style.

"I'm out of practice, but the talent is there," he replies modestly. "It's a trait I regard very highly. Any host body I choose would have to have some degree of proficiency." Maybe I was too quick to dismiss the phenomena then.

"Then maybe I'll actually follow through," he replies, unusually serious. "I do so enjoy our conversations, a ghraidh." I'm not entirely sure 'sweet' is an adjective I'd like to be called.

"I was right. You're not well. Serenades occur in public. Someone might think you cared for me. I understand there's some interesting singing going on at Caritas," she chided. "And so. Resigned? To what?" Nor I and it seems to be being applied with increasing frequency. Gah.

Camulus tilts his head. "Resigned? I have resigned myself to life." He waves a hand vaguely around the room. "I had hundreds of servant jump to do my every bidding at the slightest gesture. Palaces. Armies. But do you know what bothers me more than the lack of these things?" He leans forward. "The fact that I do not miss them. Life here is so much more . . . entertaining. Fun, even." Aww, muffin.

"Hmm, breaking the rules," he mused. "That's something we villains are allowed to do. If we put it that way . . ." He waves a hand. "And I've come to realise the Tau'ri aren't so bad. Look at me, I'm concerned for the welfare of at least three of them. None of whom I'm considering for a new host." *innocent smile* Problem, punkin? Honeycakes? Sugarpie?

"It's genius. Between you and Angelus I'll be unstoppable," he says with a smirk, and pulls a small black book out of his desk and pretends to scribble something down. "And I really prefer male hosts - as you can see - or else Beka, ghraidh, you'd be first on my list for, ahem, implantation." Always a flirt, aren't you?
