Pool table. Puppies. Kittens.

Also, in a bout of badly needed early practice strangely timed holiday cheer, Sarah has made a huge amount of Christmas cookies that are laid out on the front desk for taking.

"I don't know if I have an aversion to his art class, but I've heard enough stories." Chloe smiles at Krycek, reaching over to ruffle his hair a little where the fez matted it down. "So, what's up?" she asks.

Krycek makes a face as she ruffles his hair, but doesn't exactly tell her to stop. "Not much. Feels like a long week without much going on," he says with a shrug. "What were you looking so down about, before I cheered you with felt?"

"It's just this whole Angelus/Kitty thing," Chloe says, sighing softly. "I don't know what to think. And I just found out that Veronica's involved in all of this, far more than she probably should be. She left me a message saying she's staying with Piper and Rogue for a few days; I don't know what's going on, but I'm worried."

"So you don't have a firm opinion either way?" He looks vaguely surprised, then shrugs again, thinking out loud. "It sounds like the investigation isn't by any means over with - with a murder involved, things are probably very complicated."

Krycek stops, glancing around the room, and then gives Chloe the ghost of a grin. "Hey, want to go grab some coffee in town?"

Chloe shakes her head at the first question. "Honestly? No, I don't. I trust Veronica, but I want to trust Angelus too. There aren't enough facts right now, and all the opinions in the world won't sway me in lieu of actual evidence."

She brightens a little at the mention of coffee. "Sure. Can I hold onto the fez while we go?"

Standing, he nods, looking somewhat more cheerful at the thought of going off campus. "Of course. It definitely suits you more than it does me."
