Study Hall -- Wednesday, November 16th

Pool table. Puppies. Kittens.

Also, in a bout of badly needed early practice strangely timed holiday cheer, Sarah has made a huge amount of Christmas cookies that are laid out on the front desk for taking.

"Thanks." Callisto shrugs and rubs the back of her neck. "Well, a couple of hours of weapons work a day will do that to a girl."

"Very nice," he repeats, although if Callisto glances down at his sketchbook, she'd have no doubts as to whether he's serious or not. The page is covered in rough lines and doodles of her back. As well as a cartoon doodle of Callisto with a slingshot. "Oh, hey, could I interview you for my journalism final thingy? If the boss doesn't think I know you too well already?"

Jake puts his sketchbook down and rummages through his backpack for his notebook. He frowns at his notes. "Um, I got to follow you home for, like, an hour to sort of see where you're from, and D's gonna take your picture, and I have to talk to you and stuff, and eventually write 400 words about you. ...If I'm reading my notes right."

Jake beams at her. "Fantastic! Going to go check with the professor if that'll be okay now." He gets up off the chair and looks like he's seriously contemplating either kissing her or hugging her or both.
