"Hey Kawalsky," John returns. His cookie is still untouched on his desk. "How goes it?"

Kawalsky grimaced and held up the paper that had 'CYBORG THEORY' written at the time. "Lots of work. I don't remember ever having this many essays to write."

John nods. "I know. I fell asleep while studying last night. And I still haven't started the Cyborg Theory stuff." He shakes his head and sighs. "I am so taking basketweaving 101 next term."

"There's gonna be basketweaving?" Kawalsky sounded far too enthusiastic about that prospect.

"God, I hope so," John says and pointedly ignores all his books. "That or bowling. C'mon, how fun would a bowling class be!"

"I used to be on a bowling team," Kawalsky said thoughtfully. "We had jackets."

"I bet a bowling team would be fun," John says and kicks his backpack. "Better then studying."

"Way better. Hey, speaking of teams, you comin' to hockey tonight?"

"Cool," Charlie said with a grin. "I'm gonna get started on this." He frowned at the essay.
