Monday, the Library (open)

Zero is sorting books for shelving and listening to something very, very loud on her headphones. At least she's facing the door this time. From time to time, she casts a worried eye toward Special Collections, where Methos was last seen.

"Crap." Parker grimaced. "You're right, why would he care about paying extra charges? I was hoping he was at least on the east coast." Then she scowled at Broots. "Maybe you'll get the laptop by Wednesday, with that attitude. *If* you get me one shred, one clue of where he is. I didn't make him a hyperactive genius, or give him your name. Appreciate the damn gesture, Broots, or I'll keep it for myself." She rolled her eyes. "And for when he inevitably hacks *my* email."

Broots scowled right back at her. No one messed with his laptop, damn it. "He's on planet Earth." He paused for a second. "Actually, can I withdraw that comment? Because after going to this school, I'm not so sure anymore. And I am appreciative. I just haven't slept in two days."

"Come talk to me when you've slept. *Without* the snark." Parker rubbed the space between her eyebrows. "And it's entirely possible that you're right. But I'd still like to know."

Broots spends a moment imagining Jarod in space, then, he decides he really does need to sleep. "Sounds good. And when your nearly loose your life's work? Try not snarking."
