Charlie is sitting on his desk. Beside him there's a plate of brownies, a bowl of popcorn and a bowl with kiwis in. He's looking quite pleased with the world.

"Wallace Fennell has detention.

Barbossa is, if the radio is to be believed, a parrot, and will be excused from class until such point that he is no longer a parrot."

"I picked natural numbers. They're all the numbers that are above zero. Also zero. You can count with them," Faith finishes, smiling.

"Squark! Drink up, me hearties!" adds the parrot.

"Very good. Want some popcorn?" He eyes the parrot. "...Is that Barbossa? Does he want popcorn?"

"Awesome, thanks." Faith looks at the bird and shrugs. "Can parrots eat popcorn?" Barbossa hops up and down in response.

"So, yeah, I guess he does." She offers the bird a piece. He takes it enthusiastically, managing to bite her finger. "I hate birds, I've decided."
