At the front desk, Sarah is killing time reading "Lucifer's Hammer" and shooting a dart gun with the little rubber darts at passing students without looking. The puppies and kittens are scampering around the floor in a playful mood, looking for people to pick them up.

John comes into study hall trying to decide whether to get Aeryn a ferret or a hamster.

Cameron takes a seat, keeping one eye on the dart gun.

Anders makes his usual appearance in study hall, but it's just a token appearance today. He comes in, tosses gumballs to John and Cam, picks up one of the kittens and hugs it, then bounces back out wearing the self-satisfied smile of someone who's got a big plan in mind.

Cameron plays with the gumball and wonders what Anders is up to.

"Hey Cam." John turns towards him. "Is a hamster or a ferret better?"

"Hamsters are dumb. Why?"

"I'm thinking about getting Aeryn something more cuddly then sea monkeys. What's wrong with hamsters, Crunch?"

"They're these little furry critters and they're well... hamsters." Cameron shrugs. "A suppose a ferret is a bit better."

"I can't get her a dog, man. Too much for Aeryn right away. She freaked out enough when the sea monkeys came along."

"A ferret, mouse or a rat maybe. Chinchilla?" Cameron shrugs.

Kara sits down to study up before Physics. "Hamsters sound messy."

Lee comes in, sits down and then put his head on this desk and groans in a frustrated manner, omg.

John tosses a balled up piece of paper at Lee's head. "What's wrong, buddy?"

"Thank the gods that it's Friday," Lee mumbles into the desk.

"Yeah, weekend. Fun." Cameron doesn't sound too convinced. "Yo, Lee."

As he's leaving, Anders spots Lee and Kara, heads back into the room, and tosses gumballs onto the table for them with a wink.

Then he takes off for real, practically skipping with excitement.
