Flight Club [Tuesday evening after Safe Walk meeting]

In addition to the flight simulator, Anakin has managed to squeeze a couple dozen chairs and a movie screen into the shed.

His eyes are tired and slightly haunted as he turned to speak to the club members. "Tonight the sim has been reprogrammed back to the original Jedi Starfighter. You can see if your skills on the other sims in recent weeks have helped you with the first ship we learned on. In addition to the straight flight sequence, there is also a combat sequence available if you wish to try it."

He gestured at the movie screen. "In addition, inspired by last week's sim work of an Earth-based ship, I've rented the movie Top Gun from NPC Video Store in town. Some of the flying is pretty impressive and the volleyball sequence isn't half-bad, either."

Beka gave her a quick hug. "There's always a bit of ow the first time. And after that there can be a lot more ow and that's good too. Must not have been too bad, or you wouldn't have done it again. Glad of that," she said warmly.

"As for the hands...that's all to the good. Dunno if it's sex or not sex, but if everyone got happy, call it a win either way."

Her mouth twisted and she looked concerned for a minute. "He is getting you off, right?"

Beka took one look at Cally's face and just laughed... until the pain in her ribs drew her up sharp. "Good to know," she said finally. "So, it's good sex and you're having fun. Sounds like you don't need too many pointers. And you're getting more than I am right now." She nudged Cally with her shoulder.

"Even after what?" Beka asked, genuinely perplexed. "Anders does seem like a good guy. I don't know him at all. Tried to talk to him once, but he was distracted."

"Oh." Beka smiled a little. "No. Not a one time thing. But we're just playmates. No love there. Even if I pathetically love every indication that I matter to him.."

Oh, I was just meaning, you know... the... sex. *scratches her head*

But yeah, me and Anders are like... I don't know what I'd do without him, anymore. He's like, everything I could ever want. Seriously.

Beka snickered. "The sex with Angelus is phenomenal."

But something in Cally's tone when she talked about Anders brought her up short. That kind of love... dangerous. She buried it. Cally would be fine, Anders would be good to her, and if he wasn't, Beka would kill him. This was very simple.

"Seems like he likes you a lot too from the goofy way he grins at you. I'm happy for you." And she was, genuinely, even if the entire idea worried her.
