Flight Club [Tuesday evening after Safe Walk meeting]

In addition to the flight simulator, Anakin has managed to squeeze a couple dozen chairs and a movie screen into the shed.

His eyes are tired and slightly haunted as he turned to speak to the club members. "Tonight the sim has been reprogrammed back to the original Jedi Starfighter. You can see if your skills on the other sims in recent weeks have helped you with the first ship we learned on. In addition to the straight flight sequence, there is also a combat sequence available if you wish to try it."

He gestured at the movie screen. "In addition, inspired by last week's sim work of an Earth-based ship, I've rented the movie Top Gun from NPC Video Store in town. Some of the flying is pretty impressive and the volleyball sequence isn't half-bad, either."

Beka sat and watched the movie quietly. The only sign she was awake the way her eyes tracked the hot blonde with the bad attitude everywhere he moved.

[Not entirely sure what's wrong, Chiana sits herself next to Beka. She doesn't ask, but she's there if needed.]

As ever, Beka was alert to her environment. She knew the instant Chiana neared her. When she sat, Beka put out her hand, palm up on her knee. "I'm OK, Chi, bella. Just a complicated and exhausting weekend. Besides--" she turned and flashed a grin, "that guy is seriously hot."

[Taking Beka's hand, she just smiles and turns her attention to the screen. Even after being here this long, movies still facinate her.]

Beka held Chi's hand, happy with the non-demanding contact, and returned her attention to cocky Alpha blond with the great body.

"What?? You're blind, girl. He's fan-frelling-tastic. I'd do him." She paused, pulled a face. "Hmm. Guess that doesn't say much." Then grinned.

Beka gave her a long-suffering sigh. "Can't I even watch the hot blond in peace for five minutes?"

As the credits were actually due to roll any second, however, she stood, and with a last lingering glance at the guy she'd just learned was called Val Kilmer, she headed for the interaction area.
